Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies on tensoranalytics.ai, and how you can control them.

Last updated: July 8, 2026

1. Overview

Tensor Analytics LLC ("Tensor," "we," "our," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on tensoranalytics.ai (the "Site") to operate, secure, and analyse how the Site is used. This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, what we use them for, and the choices you have.

This Policy is published in compliance of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the European ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC) as implemented in EU member states, and the disclosure requirements for "do not sell or share" under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws.

For users in India, the consent requirement for cookies is governed by the DPDP Act and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011. For users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the consent requirement is governed by the ePrivacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to the site owners. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by other parties, such as analytics or advertising providers, are called "third-party cookies."

"Similar technologies" includes web beacons (also called pixel tags or clear GIFs), local storage, and other technologies that store data on your device. For the purposes of this Policy, references to "cookies" include these similar technologies unless the context requires otherwise.

Cookies can be "session cookies" (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent cookies" (remain on your device until they expire or you delete them). They can also be categorised by purpose: strictly necessary, preference, analytics, marketing, or social media.

3. Cookies we use

We use the following categories of cookies on the Site:

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are required for the Site to function. They enable core functionality such as security, session management, and accessibility. You cannot disable them in the Site's cookie controls, but you can block them in your browser settings. Doing so may break parts of the Site.

Examples: session ID, CSRF token, cookie consent preference. Duration: session or up to 12 months.

Preference cookies

These cookies remember your choices, such as language or region, to provide a more personalised experience.

Examples: language preference, theme (light/dark). Duration: up to 12 months.

Analytics cookies

These cookies collect aggregated information about how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are most visited, the average time on site, and error messages. We use this information to improve the Site.

Service used: privacy-preserving analytics. Duration: up to 13 months.

Marketing cookies

These cookies are used to deliver relevant content and advertisements to you and to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. We only set marketing cookies with your explicit consent. We do not engage in cross-context behavioural advertising.

Duration: up to 12 months.

We do not use cookies for the purpose of selling or sharing your personal data as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA.

4. Third-party cookies and services

We use the following third-party services that may set cookies on your device when you interact with the Site:

  • Analytics: a privacy-preserving web analytics tool that aggregates usage data without identifying individual users.
  • Forms and email: a transactional email service used to deliver form submissions and marketing emails (only with your consent).
  • Video and media: if we embed video content, the hosting provider may set cookies when you play the video.
  • Customer support: if you contact us through a support widget, the support tool may set cookies to maintain your session.

Each third-party service provider has its own privacy and cookie policies. We encourage you to review them. We do not control the cookies set by third parties, and this Policy does not cover them.

We may use the following third-party services that set their own cookies: a website tracker for analytics, a tag manager for marketing pixels, and a search engine marketing platform. We will list the specific providers and their cookie names in an updated version of this Policy.

6. CCPA/CPRA and US state law disclosures

Under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA, the use of cookies to identify a consumer or device over time and across particular services or websites may constitute a "sale" or "share" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA. The cookies we set are used for the business purposes described in this Policy and in our Privacy Policy.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to opt out of any "sale" or "share" of your personal information. Because we do not engage in such activities, there is no opt-out required. You may still use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the Site footer to confirm your preference.

For residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws, similar rights apply. Please see our Privacy Policy for a full list of rights.

We honour browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or share of personal information (although we do not engage in such activities) and will not set non-essential cookies.

7. Managing cookies in your browser

In addition to the controls we provide on the Site, you can manage cookies directly in your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

  • View all cookies currently stored on your device.
  • Block all cookies or only third-party cookies.
  • Delete all cookies when you close your browser.
  • Set preferences for specific sites.

The exact steps vary by browser. Use the help menu in your browser to find instructions. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may break core functionality of the Site, such as the contact form or session persistence.

For more information on managing cookies in popular browsers:

  • Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
  • Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and website data.
  • Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions.

8. Cookie retention

Cookies have different retention periods depending on their purpose:

  • Session cookies: deleted when you close your browser.
  • Strictly necessary cookies: up to 12 months.
  • Preference cookies: up to 12 months.
  • Analytics cookies: up to 13 months, in line with the retention period recommended by the European Data Protection Board.
  • Marketing cookies: up to 12 months.

Persistent cookies are automatically deleted when they reach their expiry date. You can also delete them at any time through your browser settings.

9. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the cookie banner or by email (if we have your email address).
